Henry Ford said "If I asked people what they want, they'd say more horses". He ignored their wishes and history was made with his manufacturing process which is the same today as when he invented it. A 3D printed car seem outrageous. But then again, so do printed body parts. The 3D generation is fast upon and finding ways to elimnate the manufacturing of 20,000 parts to build a vehicle is an impressive feat.
